Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vieta, operated from Lithuania. By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 to create a Vieta account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to violate any applicable law.
Post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, or designed to harm others.
Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the service or to another account.
Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by sending excessive automated requests.
Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Scrape, re-host, or resell aggregated event data that appears in the service.

3. User-created content

You retain ownership of events and other content you create. By creating content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights to content you upload.

4. Aggregated content

Some events are aggregated from publicly accessible sources. We do not claim ownership of that content and do not monetize it. If you are the subject of aggregated content and want it removed, submit a request at /takedown.

5. Paid placement

We do not currently offer paid promotional placement. If we introduce it in the future, pricing, duration, and refund terms will be disclosed at the point of sale. Paid placement will not alter, remove, or elevate aggregated content from third-party sources except as explicitly described at the time of purchase.

6. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that aggregated event information is complete or accurate. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Lithuanian law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of EUR 100 or the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service will be resolved by the competent courts of Lithuania, without prejudice to any consumer rights you may have under the mandatory law of your country of residence in the EEA.
